Nature of Complaint
Complainant is concerned about a buffer disturbance where Gilmer County had informed complainant that a Stop Work Order (SWO) had been issued. Complainant did not receive information regarding the SWO, violations notices, or supporting email from a GORA request that the complainant submitted. Complainant requests that EPD investigate whether enforcement actions were taken and properly documented, and if not to clarify the accuracy of prior statements.

The LIA has responded that there are no issues on Site. Since there are not any known current violations to investigate related to this complaint, this complaint is recommended for closure.

The Gilmer County LIA informed EPD that there were no issues on Site and that the LIA does not respond to potential violations. The LIA also informed EPD that several GORA requests had been submitted by the complainant. EPD could not verify that any violations had occurred, whether any enforcement actions were taken, or the accuracy of prior statements. No documents related to this complaint were provided to EPD from the LIA.
